Mourning to Prof. D. Ebenbauer

Today I was informed a sad news. Prof.Dr. Alfred Ebenbauer, my advisor during my stay in Vienna, passed away unexpectedly. In 1995, I was granted a scholarship by University of Vienna. Without him I would not have had an opportunity to study in Europe. 2 years in Vienna was a heaven in my life. I just want him to know that wherever you are, I am always very grateful to you.

Sleep well Professor.

HM Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangsuk greeted Thai with 'Wai" gesture

This gesture is called "WAI", which impressed Thai people the whole country.

My Living Place in the Future

After finishing my Ph.D., I plan to open a small English Tuition School in Samut Songkram Province. This is not far away from Bangkok. I love orchard. In my childhood, I was raised up near the Chao Phya River. I still live there but the surroundings have changed. I suffer from the highrises in Bangkok. So boring

so difficult to go to Bhutan

It is quite funny. 10 years ago, while I was reading a book written by Aung San Suu Kyi - my favorite writer and heroine, I learnt that her late husband - Dr. Michael Aris - was specilized in Tibetology. I thought what's for?? Daw Suu Kyi and Prof. Dr. Aris went to Bhutan as well. Where is Bhutan?? Ten years later, I myself fall in love with Himalayan Linguistics. Unfortunately, it is really difficult to go there because it is too expensive for me.

Now I have to ave money for my research trip to Seoul, South Korea - one of my beloved country.

I will try to keep both Korean and Himalayan Linguistics

Himalaya Linguistics

A few days ago I just found a new blog on Bhutan. I am really interested in this country ever since myt Professor Dr. Khesang has brought me to the Tibetan Linguistics. Unfortunately, she resigned from the University but we still keep in touch. Next year I plan to learn Tibetan with her if she can provide me with time. I really want to go to somewhere in Himalaya, especially Shimla, Kangtok and Thimpu. Why Thimpu or Bhutan?? This is because H.M. Jigme Kesar Namgyal Wangsuk is very kind to Thai people and I really appreciate his practices and interest in my King's project. Any Bhutanese in Thailand can teach me Tibetan?? :-))
